Hair loss treatment drug Propecia (finasteride) is recognized as one of the most effective nonsurgical products, that was designed for men only.

The hair loss treatment action of Propecia (or its generic equivalents with finasteride) is based on the established link between the male pattern baldness and hormones. A special enzyme from the oil glands of the hair follicles can convert the male hormone testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (a derivative of testosterone). How does Propecia work?
