It is acceptable for everyone to lose some hair, actually, we lose almost 100 hairs each day, the old hairs fall out and are replaced by new ones. However if the hair falls out and a new hair doesn’t replace it, a person can become bald or have bald patches.
Try changing your hairstyle or any medical treatment, if it isn’t usefull go see a doctor. He / she will recommend a product to slow or stop hair loss and to help hair grow, however unfortunately this is not a guarantee and most hair losses are permanent.
There are however some new treatments for baldness the most common being hair transplants where hair is taken from the back of the head and transplanted into the top of the head – however it is recommended to discuss this option with a hair transplant specialist.
Hair transplants are done by removing tiny plugs bunches of hair from areas where the hair is still growing and placing them in the areas that are balding. This can cause minor scarring in the donor areas and carries a modest risk for skin infection. (It is also quiet painfull) The procedure usually requires multiple transplantation sessions and may be expensive. Results, however, are often excellent and permanent.
As balding is purely cosmetic there is no medical reason why it should be done. If you are comfortable with how you look then hair weaving, hairpieces, (wig) or change of hairstyle may disguise the hair loss. This is usually the least expensive and safest approach for male baldness.
